I know from personal experience the difference it makes when you look at the good things that happened because of the bad. My best friend and i had a huge fight back in year 6, we pretty much hatted each other then in year 7 we were forced to share a dorm on our canberra trip. We became best friends again over this time and haven't thought once since, and we used to fight about twice a month.
Good always comes from the bad, you just have to find it, and when you start thinking that way, your entire world changes. the bad is still there, but you're not always thinking about it.
But if you can't find the good all i can say is that, it might not be ok, and it might not be fixed, but you will get used to it. It'll just be a part of your past.
